The anode material is one of the determining factors for success electrowinning process. This study aims to coat graphite substrate with β-PbO2 produce an inert graphite/β-PbO2 composite low cost and good quality. synthesis expected be used as composites processes. deposition layer was prepared on surface by electrodeposition process using a sulfuric acid electrolyte. effect electrolyte concentration voltage investigated potentiodynamic polarization test through Tafel analysis. Experimental data have shown that there increase in current density value at beginning then decrease due passivation; this anodic Suitable conditions can effectively rate formation β-PbO2. results scanning electron microscopy energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopic analysis formed crystal structure showed obtained had well-formed tetragonal 9 V.
